Skip began his insurance career in 1969 after receiving his BBA from Sam Houston State University. He worked for a major Insurance Company for 7 years before coming to Katy Insurance Agency in 1976. He is a licensed agent for Property/Casualty, Bonds, Life and Health. Skip has held the Associate of Risk Management (ARM) since 1974 and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1989, professional designations.
He has served the insurance industry (since 1976) first as a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston (IIAH), Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) and Independent Insurance Agent of America (IIAA). As for his service in the IIAH, he has served as a member of the Education Committee, Long Range Planning Committee and Board of Directors.
Skip is very active in the community as he has served in many areas.

He what spare time he has, he loves traveling with his wife and spending time with his three grandsons and one granddaughter.
